The Slovenian Alps in northern Slovenia seem to be different to other mountain ranges, they glisten in the light as they are made of white limestone. Your tour starts in to the world famous Bled with its lake with an old church on an island in the middle. From here you progress to the Bohinj, with its surroundings you will surely agree with the locals that this is one of the prettiest places on earth. Many cyclists admire the panoramic views this road offers. Kransjka Gora is a big ski resort in the winter months. You wlll have great views of the Julian Alps and the Karawanke range of mountains. Trough wild alpine scenery, over the highest Slovenian mountain pass of Vršič, descend down to secluded emerald river gorges. Follow the wild Soča river`s path to the limestone Karst country.- Day 1: Rendezvous at the airport. Transfer from Airport to first camp for the nights. Group meeting with the evening meal.
- Day 2: First day ride through isolated alpine valley of Radovna, a paradise for nature lovers, with blueberries hidden in the green meadows, herds of cows grazing and cold streams gurgling. You are already in the very heart of the Alps. On ride back visit to famous Vintgar Gorge. Transfer to Bohinj.
- Day 3: Start from Bohinjska Bistrica and ride along the right bank of the Sava River to Ribčev Laz on Lake Bohinj. Ride to waterfall Savica and back to Bohinjska Bistrica. Transfer to Kranjska gora.
- Day 4: In the early morning ride up the Vrsic Pass which is considered to be one of the most scenic mountain roads in Europe. Gradually, with many breaks, climb to the pass at 1611m of altitude, offering you some of the finest mountain views on the trip. Transfer to Bovec.
- Day 5: Ride in the valley of the turquoise river Soca - considered to be one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Uphill to Preval Pass and short stop at Kluže fortress. Transfer to Kobarid.
- Day 6: Ascent up to Drežnica is the most demanding part of the tour. Cycling through Magozd and take the gravel road to slowly descend to Trnovo ob Soči. We continue across the bridge to the main road back to Kobarid. Transfer to Vipava.
- Day 7: Peddle up from Ajdovščina to the source of the Hubelj River. Ride to the village of Lokavec and up to the village of Vipavski Križ. Pedal down the hill from Vipavski Križ towards the village of Velike Žablje and drive on, along the Vipava River. Transfer to Ljubljana. Night visit to center of Ljubljana.

The wine and food cycling holiday follows a direction from Maribor to the adriatic coast. The terrain is fairly easy making this a tour suitable for beginners. Cycling through vineyards, passing wine cellars with great white wine or taking a snack in a little roadside inn! Those who have only passing interest in wine may be more interested in old towns, mighty castles, stork nests on chimneys and much more. The loveliest areas of the three Slovenian wine-growing regions are given over to a plant that requires a lot of attention, love and sunshine. The vines in Slovenia have been getting all of this for several thousand years, so you can taste it in the wine, too. All 14 wine-growing districts offer at least one arranged wine road, on which you can find out for yourself why Slovenian wines are among the best in the world. Along the picturesque wine roads there are cellars where you can taste and buy quality, superior quality and quality-tested (predikat) wines and sparkling wines. We will visit all three regions and six districts.- Day 1: Rendezvous at the airport. Transfer from Airport to first camp for the nights. Group meeting with the evening meal.
- Day 2: Todays ride on road from Maribor also reaches the eastern fringes of the Slovenske gorice hills, all the way to the region of panoramic Korena and Vurberk, which look out over the river Drava. Visit to vine cellar Vinag.
- Day 3: Transfer to Ptuj. Cycle through the Drava region, enjoying delicate flowers and exuberant green trees thru forest paths and the view of vineyards and old cottages on the hillsides in the Haloze and Slovenske Gorice reagion. Visit to vine cellar Ptujska klet.

- Day 4: Transfer to Čatež. Cycling through one part of the Podgorjanska wine road to Gadova pec. We will rise to slopes of Gorjanci, near the vineyards and wine rooms, where the pride of Dolenjska - wine Cvicek, has its home. You return to terme Catez along the other pearl of Dolenjska - lower stream of Krka. Visit to vine cellar Krško.
- Day 5: Transfer to Goriška Brda. Cycling in Goriška brda thru small vilages and vineyrds will give you specil experiance. Uphill to mount Sabotin for great view on surroundings hills and vineyards. On way beck visit to Wine cellar Goriška brda, the biggest one in Slovenia.
- Day 6: Transfer to Vipava. Peddle up from Ajdovščina to the source of the Hubelj River. Ride to the village of Lokavec and up to the village of Vipavski Križ. Pedal down the hill from Vipavski Križ towards the village of Velike Žablje and drive on, along the Vipava River. Visit to vine cellar Vipava.
- Day 7: Transfer to Koper. The cycling roads will take us along the sea. Cycling on slopes and ridges, from where unique views open towards the coast and the mainland, provides a special pleasure. After biiking visit to vine cellar Vina Koper. Transfer to Ljubljana. Night visit to centre of Ljubljana - capital city of Slovenia.
- Day 8: After breakfast transfer back to Ljubljana Airport.

We set this trip becouse a growing number of families with small children are choosing cycling trips or cycling holidays in Slovenia. Above all, they want safe and undemanding roads for cycling. If you are looking for roads like this for your family, you can find them in several parts of Slovenia. These are often flat roads in the countryside, where there is very little other traffic. Some of the less demanding routes will take you to a number of cultural and, in particular, natural heritage sites. Ride to Planica, to Mojstana and the Tamar Valley, to the surroundings of Bohinj and Bled, old militay roads in Tolmin, thru vineyrds in Vipava vallay and finally on the the former narrow gauge railway called Paranzana.

- Day 5: Cycling along river side Nadiža to Kobarid. Visit to famous Kobarid Museum presenting the rich history of Kobarid and particularly the events on the Soča Front. Afternoon swimming in Nadiža river. Transfer to Vipava.
- Day 6: Peddle up from Ajdovščina to the source of the Hubelj River. Ride to the village of Lokavec and up to the village of Vipavski Križ. Down the hill from Vipavski Križ towards the village of Velike Žablje and drive on, along the Vipava River. Transfer to Koper.
- Day 7: Cycling on Paranzana runs along the route of the former narrow gauge railway that connected the cities of Trieste and Poreč a place. Visit to Salina Nature Park. Transfer to Ljubljana. Visit to Ljubljana center.
